Khan, Commissioner [Enquiry], DNCs and Professionals from BS
Anti-Corruption Commission [ACC] attended.
and Chief National Commissioner, Scout Tripti Biswas stood First and
Bangladesh Scouts [CNC BS] Anmol Sultana Muskan became
distributed Awards as Chief Second.

BP Day
Observed
T he Great Founder of the
World Scout Movement,
Lord Baden Powel was
born on Feb 22, 1857. He
is better known as BP. With
only 20 Boys, he started a
Scout Camp in Brownsea
Island in southern England
on an experimental basis.
Presently the Movement
exists in 170 Countries with
some 50 million Members.
Bangladesh has some 1.70
million Scout Members, and
is the fifth largest Scout State
in the world.
At 15:00 in the afternoon
of Feb 22 last the Day was
observed at the NHQ.
Painting for Cub Scouts,
Essay Competition for Scouts
and Extempore Speech for
Rover Scouts were arranged.
Dr. Md. Mozammel
Haque Khan, Commissioner
[Enquiry], ACC and CNC BS,
distributed prizes. Guardians,
Cub Scouts, Scouts and
Rover Scouts; National
Leaders of BS attended.
All Dist. and Upajela
Scouts observed the Day in
a befitting manner.

First National TTL Camp
T he First National Ticket to Life
Scout Camp 2019 was held from
Feb 14 to 16 last at the National
Scouts Training Centre at Mouchak
in Gazipur, Bangladesh [NSTC].
Camp Chief and National
Coordinator TTL BangladeshMr.
Md.Jahurul Haque received all
by greeting with red flowers; as
that was on Valentine’s Day in the
month of Falgun.
A total of 134 Participants were
Bangladesh Scouts
in the Camp that included 98
Scouts, 13 Scout Leaders, 1 NGO
Official, 13 Asstt Scout Leaders and
9 Rover Volunteers attached to TTL.
Nine Teams from Dhaka Metro and
four Teams from various parts of the
country took part. There were nine
Challenges.
Mr. Md Atiquzzaman, NC
[Programme] opened the Camp
on Feb 14 which ended on Feb 15
with Grand Camp Fire; where Chief
Guest was Mr. Abul Kalam Azad,
Principal Coordinator [SDG Affairs],
Government of Bangladesh and
President, BS.
Julu Dance, Songs, Patriotic
Songs and Short Drama were
performed.
Closing Ceremony was held on
Feb 16. Mr. Mesbah Uddin Bhuiyan,
NC [Dev] was Chief Guest.

Agreement Between Unicef And

Bangladesh Scouts
A Programme Cooperation
Agreement [PCA] was signed
between these two Organizations
in order to cooperate in imparting
education and training on Scouts
of some Dists., City- and Municipal
Corporations about Reproductive
Health and Skills on Reducing Risks
during Calamities.
Representative of UNICEF,
Bangladesh Mr. Edouard Beigbeder
and Executive Director, BS Mr.
Arshadul Mukaddis signed the PCA
at the NHQ on Feb 10 last.
Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan,
Commissioner [Enquiry], ACC and
CNC BS, Mr. Shah Kamal, NC [CD
& Health], UNICEF, Bangladesh
Officials, Senior Officials of BS and
Professional Executives witnessed
the signing.
