13.1 MICROINTERRUPTIONS
Microinterruptions occur when power is interrupted for very brief intervals
(typically for periods exceeding 40msec.), which can cause false switchovers
of the remote control switches. In this case, the equipment identifies the
malfunction and orders the compressor to shut down with the relative message.
13.2 LINE POWER SHORTAGES
If the line voltage is interrupted decisively during operation, the malfunction is
identified and a machine block message is then indicated

CRG 001 PAGE 19

14.0 COMPRESSOR START
After having powered on the machine and checked that there are no errors due to
phase rotation, the controllor will perform the initial operations already described in
chapter 4.0.

14.1 COMPRESSOR START

At this point, the heading: READY FOR START will appear.

Press the START key

The MC2 will insert in sequence the outputs

LINE + STAR
TRIANGLE
LOAD VALVE (if the line pressure requires it)
If the line pressure does not require a machine start, because it is
already sufficient, the controllor will remain idle until the pressure
reaches the minimum value set.
At this point, once started, the compressor will begin to load the tank and the DY
display will show “Operating - Load” on the III line. When the maximum set pressure
has been reached, the controllor will deactivate the inlet valve and the display will
show the heading “Operating - Unload.”

14.2 CONTINUOUS OPERATION

If “CONTINUOUS” operation is used the compressor will never be stopped, unless
a STOP command is issued or there is a power line shortage.

14.3 AUTOMATIC OPERATION

If, instead, “AUTOMATIC” operation is used, once the maximum set pressure has
been reached, the machine will continue to operate on empty for a preset delay time
(operating- empty):the DY display will show the heading Operating - Unload, with the
minutes remaining before the motor is stopped; once this time has elapsed, the
controllor will wait (the DY will show Waiting for automatic start) for a subsequent re-
start once the pressure reaches the minimum set value.

14.4 COMPRESSOR STOP

There are various ways to stop the compressor:
a) press the STOP key
The machine will continue operating for a preset time, after
which it will stop, ready to start up again
b) Emergency push button
The machine will be immediately stopped and shut down (L3 lighted),
and the heading EMERGENCY STOP will appear. To re-start, it is
necessary to press the Reset key before pressing the START key. If
the emergency condition re-appears immediately, it is necessary to
wait for the preset discharge time.
c) Power shortage
This condition is treated as for point b), except that the message
is related to the LINE INTERRUPTION.

CRG 001 PAGE 20

d) DIGITAL AND/OR ANALOGUE INPUTS
If a malfunction occurs due to non-conforming signals, the machine shuts
down and indicates the relative message. Once the problem has been
resolved, the machine can then be re-started in START mode.
e) REMOTE CONTROL
If the remote control is inserted, the compressor will stop according to the
modalities outlined in point a)
f) DAILY OR WEEKLY PROGRAMMING CONTROL
The compressor mainly follows the start and stop commands relative to
the preset hours

15.0 ERROR MESSAGES

Error messages are listed in the “ERROR MESSAGES” menu.

To reset this error two solutions can be adopted:

solution a) wait for the subsequent hour to elapse, reset using the RESET command;
