Q1. What Is The Most Common Cyberbullying Case You've Witnessed?
Based on the given responses of the participants, the most common types of
cyberbullying cases that they have witnessed are harassments, shaming, as well as
frequently. The second most common case that participants encounter are shaming and
discrimination (body shaming, exclusion, and shamed for having different traits) stated by 6 out
of the 20 participants. The remaining 7 participants have stated that their most commonly
encountered case are mean posts with 3 participants, 2 participants stating cyber flame wars, and
Majority of the participants answered that they have done something about the incidents
they have witnessed with 14 out of 20 saying yes. The remaining 6 participants stated that they
have not done something about the incidents that they have witnessed and answered no.
Q3. If you have answered yes, how did you intervene in the situation?
The 14 participants were evenly distributed to 7 for both Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.
Majority of the Grade 11 students intervened by reaching out to the victims via private message
message and participants 4, 5, 6 reported the incidents to authorities. The Grade 12 students’
preferred method of intervening are reaching out (participants 11, 12, 14, 15, 16) and publicly
defending the victims (participants 12, 14, 15, 16, 17). Participants 11, 14, 15 confronted the
bullies by calling them out on public posts. Participants 12, 13, 15 reported the instigators to the

The remaining 6 participants that stated no have almost similar reasons for not
intervening, participants 3, 10, 18 did not intervene because it is none of their business or they do
not want to be involved in the situation, as participant 1 stated, “I'm not brave enough”. Some
participants also did not interfere because of the lack of knowledge about the situation, “I am
afraid to intervene because sometimes there are unspoken or unheard sides. I just don't want to
stand up for something that I am not fully aware of.” Stated by participant 19. Another
