As a student majoring in biomedical engineering at Penn State University located in University Park, PA, I
am very interested in the open position for a biomedical engineer at your company.

Throughout my education, I have taken many classes such as Organic Chemistry that have taken place in
a lab setting, allowing me to perfect my skills in the laboratory. My classes at Penn State University have
fully prepared me to use programs such as ELISA and NGS. I have also taken classes to enhance my skills
in data analysis. Everything I’ve learned will be easily transferable to the workplace and will help me
progress and enhance your company.

Furthermore, I am extremely creative and able to work independently and in group settings very well. I
have been very involved in both high school and college in many groups and activities, allowing me to be
able to learn to work well with others. I feel I was a key asset in every organization because I went
above and beyond what was expected. My ability to communicate well with others will be essential in
this position and will help me play an important role in your company.
