Ten qualities of Muslim men and women are described here.

1. They are Muslim

2. They are believers

3. They are obedient

4. They are truthful

5. They are enduring

6. They are humble

7. They are alms giving

8. They keep fast

9. They guard their chastity

10. They remember Allah

If these qualities are present in men and women, they are equal in the eyes of Allah and their reward
will be equal. There is forgiveness and great reward for them.

Q2. How do the believers respond to the decisions of Allah and His Prophet?

Ans: To obey the command of Allah and His Prophet (SAW)

Nobody can disobey commandment of Allah and His Prophet (SAW). All Muslims have to show
obedience to the religion of Allah. Those who oppose the religion of Allah should be afraid lest they
should suffer from any disaster or should go through any painful persecution.

Q3. Explain the matters related to Hazrat Zaid (RA) discussed in the lesson.

Ans: before prophethood, the Holy Prophet(SAW) made Hazrat Zaid (RA) his successor. He was a slave.
The Holy Prophet (SAW) provided him freedom. Commonly he was called Zaid-Bib-Muhammad.He was
very dear to Holy Prophet (SAW).

The Holy Prophet (SAW) sent a marriage proposal from Hazrat Zaid-Bin-Haris to his cousin Hazrat Zainab
(RA). She and her brother declined. Hazrat Jibriel brought Surah-e-Ahzaab verse36-37.

When Hazrat Zainab and his brother heard the commandment of Allah, she readily to agreed to marry
Hazrat Zaid-Bin-Haris. The Holy Prophet (SAW) himself performed nikkah.
Marriage of Hazrat Zaid with Hazrat Zainab(RA) and Separation

The Holy Prophet (Saw) got married Zainab.this marriage continued for more than a year. Then some
material incompatible relations developed. Hazrat Zaid came to the Holy Prophet (Saw) told about their
differences. The Holy Prophet (SAW) advised him to continue this relation of marriage, but this marriage
ultimately ended in separation as Zaid had no option.

Allah gave Hazrat Zainab to the Holy Prophet (SAW) in marriage. There was wisdom in this marriage that
one can marry the wives of adopted sons when they get proper divorce and after divorce fulfill religious
rituals.
