expected to: (C) identify examples of responsible citizenship, including obeying rules and laws, staying informed on public issues,
voting, and serving on juries.

 In 1961, President John F. Kennedy made this statement in his Inaugural Address:

“…my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for
your country.”

 Using what you have learned during this lesson, explain how this quote relates to the idea of
being a responsible citizen and contributing to the common good.
