ELECTRICAL

Wires and Cables

 Electrical wire

It should be made of Soft Copper that is drawn and annealed with 98% conductivity.Duraflex
or approved equal .It should be used to gice supply of electricity to all electrical outlets and
lighting fixtures throughout the structure.

3.5mm for power outlet

2.5mm for lighting

Execution:The wires should be placed inside a PVC pipe or Flexible pipe that is installed
inside the walls and ceiling of the house to protect the wire from being damage and
degradation which can cause housefire and interuption of the supply of ellectricity in the
structure.The wire should be properly connected to the circuit breaker,outlets and lighting
fixture(connecting the wrong wires to the outlets and lighting fixture could cause short circuit)
using pliers.

PLUMBING

Sewage system

 PVC pipe
Moldex PVC pipe or approved equal.It is durable enough to last and very cheap.It is ideal to
be used sewage system due to its durability and very low pricing.

The size of the PVC pipe to be used for the sewage system must 3inch in diameter

Execution:the water sewage system should run undneath the property but must completely be
separated to the water supply line to the house avoid contamination and it must be connected
to the public sewer.The PVC pipe cement,PVC fixtures(900 elbow,450 elbow,P-trap,T-
equaland etc.) must also be

Plumbing fixture

 Water closet

American Standard or approved equal 1 set complete with accessories.It shoud be made with
smooth and white porcelain.It should be place inside the restroom/comfort room to
accomodate human excrement and discharge it through the waste pipe.

Execution:The water closet should be placed below a small window that is 1.5 meters above
the finish floor line and installed using mortar.The water closet should place with a 1 foot gap
from the sides and front for the user to be able to move freely when using it.
Architectural

Door

 PVC door
Door queen Pvc laminated door or approved equal complete with accesories.Its made with
water resistant material and can last for decades.It must be used to comfort
room/restroom/bathroom as a door due to its due to water resistant capabilities

Execution:The door frame must be installed using mortar and must be dry before the door is
installed to the frame

Door Fixture

 Door Knob
Amerilock AL 588 SS knodset or approved equal made of stainless steel .It should be smooth
and comfortable to use.It is use open, close,and locking doors and can only be unlock using a
key.

Execution: installing it need a hole to be made to the door where it was supposed to be
installed that is enough for the knob to be install.After the hole is made the knob can now be
installed

REFLECTION

From i have seen and learned through the process of making a specification its relly very sophisticated
job to do beacuse every important detail of the materials like what model should be used or type must
be specified even on how it was being used inthe construction.It may be hard or time consuming to do
but when i look at it finding every information about the plan and materials its really easy because it
was already arranged in a certain manner.For me doing a specificatin is like doing a instruction manual
for the the construction process where you have to follow the instruction to on how to build the
structure.
