1. Front Page Consists of i) course code , ii)course name iii) group’s SDG
(group) iv)group name and v) Members and ID
e.g. SDG = Problem Space SDG 3 Good health and well being

2. Report format Respond to what is your HCI solution to the SDG’s issue? It
(Individual) i)title reflects an HCI technology you’ve named to propose for a i)
new ii)an improvement iii) a replacement or iv) a reparation
solutions to the existing problem/issue/concern of the SDG.
e.g. Providing smart emergency rescue response with
Google MAP in Malaysia
ii) Introduction • what is your SDG and its particular
problems/concern/issue you are dealing with for the
HCI solution?
• Overview of the SDG
• Overview of the problem/issue/concern of your
scope
• Overview of the HCI solutions that available

iii) Understanding the • The goal of this substantive part of the stage 1 is to
problem deeply understand the problem scope that you are
addressing e.g. its set of pertinent users, and the
issues and constraints that are involved in the
problem. Do your research.
• identify important characteristics of the problem
that will influence your subsequent design.
• Use user centered design (UCD) approach and
explain clearly.
• Apply empathy phase from Design Thinking and
details how it works.
• If the task is accomplished through an existing
system or interface, you should perform an
interpretive evaluation of that system or interface to
help you learn more about it.
• Substantiate all claims with reference, provide the
bibliography and avoid baseless claims.
