The stop was initiated due to observing the vehicle fail to stop before entering onto US Highway 19, fron the Rodeway Inn, which ie located at 11832 US Highway 19. Upon conducting an FCIC/NCIC check on the attached plate, I discovered there waa no registration on file, and the plate have been distributed to the tax collector. T approached the vehicle and made contact with the sole occupant, who provided me with his Florida identification card. The driver advised he did not have a registration for the vehicl claiming he had purchased the vehicle earlier in the day. I returned to my vehicle, and conducted @ search of DAVID, utilizing the Florida identification card, which identified the driver as Michael Jon Adkins. Through the search of DAVID, I observed Michael"s driving privileges were revoked on 05/17/2019. I returned to the vehicle, opened the passenger door, at which time, I observed the defendant using his feet to crush, shards of a crystal-1ike substance into the floor board. I also observed a single syringe on the flood board. Upon ‘opening the door, I observed a white powdery substance in the door handle. The defendant was detained at this tine. T conducted a search of the defendants person prior to placing him into my patrol vehicle, an empty holster was renoved fron the defendants waist band, along with an additional bag of a crystal-Like substance. An inventory search of the vehicle was then conducted. In the trunk of the vehicle, a backpack was located. Inside this backpack, “a magazine stamped with “SCY was located. This magazine contained ten, 9mm rounds. At this time, I located a firearm laying on the floor, directly behind the vehicle, on the passenger side. This firearm was collected. This firearm was discovered to a SCY 9nm CPX-2, firearm, bearing serial number; 676133. This firearm contained the same magazine as the magazine that was discovered inside the vehicle, along with the sane ammunition. This firearm was loaded with fa round inside the chanber. I then made contact with the defendant, Post-Miranda, the defendant admitted to throwing the firearm out of the window. The defendant adnitted to being aware he was a felon, and being avare that he should not possess the firearm. Through a search of CCIS, I observed the defendant was adjudicated guilty, for cocaine sales, on 05/17/2019, under court cage number; 512019CP000325CPAKWS. The remainder of the search led to the discovery of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, MDMA pills, and drug paraphernalia. In the center console a safe was located. Inside this safe, two additional bags of anmunition were located, This ammunition wae aleo 9mm rounds. The door card, was removed from the driver"s side of the vehicle. Additional bags of Methanphetanine, and fentanyl were recovered. All narcotics were tested, while body camera was activated, and met with positive test results. The raw weight for the Methanphetanine vas met with a total of 79 grams, Fentanyl was met with a raw weight of 4 grane, 1 gram of cocaine, two MDMA pills, and 1 gram of Heroin. Inside the vehicle 467 0s dollars were located, along with several hundred plastic baggies, and an electronic scale were located. Post-Miranda the defendant admitted most of the substances were for personal use, and that he had recently acquired it with his COVID money, and was just attempting to make sone additional money.
