Part two
Samsung Electronics has been a global IT pioneer since it was established in Suwon, Korea,
in 1969, overseeing over 200 subsidiaries worldwide. The business offers home equipment
including TVs, computers and fridges as well as washing machines, and main devices such as
smartphones and tablets for cell phones. Samsung is also a reliable supplier of main
electronic components such as DRAM and non-memory halves. Samsung is committed to
developing and offering quality goods and services to make its consumers worldwide more
convenient and more intelligent. Samsung technological leadership is strongly challenged.
The President is not his once believed esteemed technologist. Samsung's CEO has never been
mentioned as a technology leader. Then who has the required technology strategy power over
the business on the board? Who approaches the manager to evaluate the corporate mission
and plan rather than only addressing financial challenges and procedural issues? In the last
decade Samsung has been able to deliver respectable profits and revenues by updating current
products gradually. But if a leader wants to triumph over a quickly evolving market, he must
constantly innovate rivals. This was never Steve Ballmer's personal might. He needed help,
and maybe he was not listening attentively, I think by the board. I think that the Samsung
owners must review the company Board and the voters with a technological foresight that
allows them to make the necessary changes in the executive staff. Apple stands out from its
competitors, how it runs and regulates. Another important approach is to do that. Over the
years I have been working with many corporations and so many of the commissions have to
make their decisions and get the approval of one or more of their silo industries before they
can continue. Apple also maintains a core management team that is able to design products
together and decide how the company progresses. Apple's own hardware, operating system,
software and utilities also integrate with the existing cloud infrastructure. Apple has no silos,
except that one board of directors makes all the decisions. That's why it all blends so
smoothly together. This difference in how Apple operates cannot be emphasized enough as
compared to its competitors. Apple is greatly advanced by competition.
