HEALTH CAMP AT PATTADUPPADA


Principle Implementation.
HIV/AIDS Counseling& Health Awareness camp, under the guidance
of APSACS & National AIDS Control Organization, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, New Delhi
Field Support: HIV/AIDS awareness camps
Sirugudi Project – Pregnant women & orphan child affected by
HIV/AIDS.

COUNSILING OF THE PATIENT


Background of

SIRUGUDI SOCIETY FOR WELFARE OF HIV POSITIVE.


The organization is being set by Mr. S.Lavanya Kumar the founder &
Chairperson of this Group.
The group of the business like Sharada Convents, Janachaitanya
Construction which was earlier being established by his father is
running very successfully. Later Mr. Kumar has constructed other
business like Sirigudi construction, Sirugudi Ambulance, Sirugudi
Lodge& Sirugudi Society for welfare of HIV positive.

Sirigudi group business is now has been spreaded to


Visakhapatanam to Srikakulam including Vizianagaram.

Mr. Kumar has established the Sirugudi Society for welfare of HIV positive
because to help the people living with HIV/AIDS.

DECTED THE HIV PATIENT

Intermediate Results
Conducted the Health Awareness camps in various places of
Vizianagaram Districts.
a. Total coverage of the areas is
Two Villages named- Pathaduppada & Nellamarla.
b. Total coverage of patients is 81.
c. Total Staffs: 1. Two no of Doctors
2. Five no of councilors
3. Eight no of Executive body Members
4. One camp attendant & one Driver.

MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION TO THE PATIENT

Distribution of materials
1. Medicines; Antianalgesic, Antiparacetamol, Vitamin & mineral
tablets.
2. Literatures: HIV/AIDS awareness literatures issued by NACO
3. Condoms: 10.000 condoms have been distributed that day.
4. Old cloths; Old cloths which has been collected from various
places of the Vizianagaram Districts has been distributed that
day.
5. Food- Wheat grain halwa & Vegetable Khechidi.

PHYSICAL CHECK-UP ON CAMP

Program conducted on
1. Truckers (Truck Drivers Activities)
2. Commercial sex workers (CSW)
3. Men Having sex with Men (MSM)
4. Mother to child transmission (MTCT)
Percentage of individuals belonging to specified high-risk groups
who report condom use in most recent sexual encounters with non-
regular partners.
Percentage of population with symptomatic Sexually Transmitted
Diseases (STD) has taken advice from our trained counselors.

Topic Discussion on Behavior among high risk groups

Women in prostitution, truck drivers, tourists and slum dwellers).


They also promoted condom use and safe behavior among these
groups as well as the care and support interventions for People Living
with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
