What have I done?


I already used different strategies and methods for the students to test their higher
order thinking skills.
What am I doing?
As a teacher it is our responsibility to discover different skills and abilities of our
students. And it is also our responsibility to improve that skills and apply it to
different aspect and activities inside and outside of our classrooms.
What will I do next?
As a teacher I’m going to test the ability of my students to be independent in all
manners. I’m going to let my students to be a person they want to be (Ex. Doctor,
Nurse, Teacher ect.).

What was new?

That the students can motivate and inspire themselves and they are also responsible to
each other.

What was exciting?

It is exciting to include the 14 learner centered principle in teaching. With this I believe
students will learn more and enjoy the activities.

What was worrisome?

- The support that will be given by school heads.


- Teacher should be allowed to use lesson plan in a more flexible
manner.
- Allow teachers to include, exclude or combine competencies.

- Learning environment goes beyond the physical appearance at a
classroom. Learning Environment affects socio-emotional and
cognitive capacity of each student.
2. What does this definition of learning environment tell about the way students
learn?
- Learning environments have both indirect and direct influence on
students.
3. What is the critical role of teachers in providing and managing learning
environment that promotes learner responsibility and achievement?
- The teacher is the one that facilitate the learning environment.
4. Since learners must do the learning, how do you think will you create a total
environment for learning that optimizes the ability of the students to learn?
- Teach them to learn on their own and sharing responsibilities.

Let the learner discover the new ideas or gather ideas


using different sources of information, like having an Indirect and direct influence
experiments, survey etc, within their community.

Divide class into groups. Assign leaders for each Collaborative learning
group, give them different activity. Teacher will roam
around to check each group.
