Lesson Plan in Reading Comprehension
I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of a 60-minute class, 75% of the students are expected to:
A. Define what is reading
B. Share the importance of reading comprehension skills
C. Complete statements using the appropriate words
III.PROCEDURES:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
2. Checking of Attendance
3. Review of previous lesson
B. Motivation
The students will write three stories he/she read and give a brief summary
D.Lesson Proper
1. Discussion on reading comprehension and its importance
2. Students will watch a video about the importance of reading
comprehension
3. Activity
The students will write what they understand on the video
E. Generalization
Reading Comprehension is the understanding and interpretation
of what is read. To be able to accurately understand written material, the
reader need to be able to decode what they read, make connections
between what they read and what they already know, and think deeply
about what they have read.
IV. EVALUATION:
Read the reading passage then answer the question below.
V. ASSIGNMENT/ AGREEMENT:
Read more stories and write a brief summary.
