I.PRE-LESSON Self-
The teacher will greet the students and ask them some questions Reliance
regarding safety, for examples:
ACTIVITIES: 1. Why does a person need to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle?
2. Why are people obligated to wear the seatbelt in the car?
After that, the teacher will let them guess the topic that they will
going to learn for the day

II.LESSON DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY


Activity 1: individual
i. The students received a piece of paper.
ii. The students will be instructed to create a mind map
about “the importance of practicing safety precautions”
iii. The students will be required to finish the task within 10
min.

Activity 2- individual
i. Teacher will share the worksheets to the students in the
WhatsApp group and asks them to prepare their
dictionaries.
ii. On the worksheet, there will be given a text about safety
precautions based on topic 4, Be safe.
iii. Students are required to read the text and find the
meaning of any word that they do not understand from
the text using the dictionaries given.
iv. Once they finish finding the meaning of the words,
students have to write it on the worksheet itself.
v. Once they’re done, the teacher will call out their names
randomly and ask them to share the meaning of the
words.

Activity 3- individual
i. Teacher will show the format of an informal letter to the
students in the zoom class.
ii. Teacher will ask the students to write an informal letter
about safety precautions to their friends.
iii. Teacher will provide the points of safety precautions
through a text on a worksheet and also gives them some
examples of adjectives in the WhatsApp group for them
to elaborate the points.
iv. They will have to submits their letters in the google
classroom.
v. Students that write best letter will be shown as an
example for the next class.

III.POST-LESSON
i. Anticipation Guide:
Students will evaluate 4-6 statements related to the
lesson based upon prior knowledge (usually by labelling
them True/False or agree/disagree) and revisit their
responses at the end of the lesson after exposure to
additional information.
ii. Semantic Mapping:
The teacher asks students to write a concept or phrase
from the lesson on the chalkboard or on a chart. Ask
students to write words that relate to the concept or
phrase around it.
