ANALYZE
Do you agree that the teachers are the best instructional materials? Explicate your answer.
To be a successful teacher, you must be able to use a range of instructional materials at all
stages, such as PowerPoint presentations and handouts, to improve the quality of your
lessons. The quality of such products has a direct bearing on the quality of instruction. A
teacher’s ability to locate instructional materials is extremely important. It is useful for
learning areas as well as for teaching. It is suitable for the learning areas as well as the
ability or levels of learning of the learners. Teaching is a complete package; it is true that
the best instructional material is an instructor or a teacher, since they are the ones who run
the classroom and for the teaching and learning process to be successful.

LESSON 10
INVESTIGATE
Portfolios commonly printed in paper, are spaces where objects and work can be collected
and curated.
Traditional portfolios are a compilation of facts prepared by a student and reviewed by a
faculty member in order to show mastery, comprehension, implementation, and
integration of a series of concepts.
SUPPLEMENT
E-portfolios are commonly used by students to compile their work, focus on their
achievements and weaknesses, and strive for improvement. Faculty, departments, and
organisations gain valuable information as they analyze portfolio work, reflect on it in
curricular contexts, and use the data and reflections to prepare for change. Students and
faculty may use e-portfolios to track the progress of important results over time, create
correlations between disparate sections of the curriculum, gain perspectives that
contribute to change, and establish identities as learners or facilitators of learning.
I’ve learned a lot about myself by relating my career, school experiences, and learning
outside the classroom to my educational and life goals. Writing down my goals had been an
opportunity I hadn’t taken advantage of in a few years, and I’m glad I did. I’m confident that
the process of building my ePortfolio has helped me to put all of these facets of my life into
sharper focus, which will aid me in my academic and professional endeavors.
