Assessment criteria
For students’ performance to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment task, they must
satisfactorily address all of the assessment criteria. If part of this task is not satisfactorily
completed they will be asked to complete further assessment to demonstrate competence.
Re-submission opportunities
Students will be provided feedback on their performance by their Assessor. The feedback will
indicate if you have satisfactorily addressed the requirements of each part of this task.
If any parts of the task are not satisfactorily completed your assessor will explain why and
provide you written feedback along with guidance on what you must undertake to demonstrate
satisfactory performance. Re-assessment attempt(s) will be arranged at a later time and date.

dealt with unfairly or have other appropriate grounds for an appeal.

These goals have been translated into an Operational Plan for the organisation.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you are responsible for the following key
result areas: Membership Growth, Programs and Events and Volunteer Development.

association based in a small town on the NSW South Coast, which is responsible for
administration and development of football for the NSW South Coast. The main goal of
the meeting is to improve participation in community football and to increase
participation of girls aged between 5 and 18. So, I would like to invite you to attend a
performance planning meeting.
I have also attached an operational plan for this.

Subject: Letter for workplace concerns of football South East Coast and
reviewing the meeting.
Dear,
It is stated that, the email will discuss the summary of our recent team meeting about
the team performance according to our operational plan held on 11/2018. It will also
discuss the workplace concerns, which has been appeared in the meeting.
We have discussed the operational plan, performance plan, 12 months plan and team
contribution to achieve the goal.
In the meeting, we found that the budget is too low to achieve the marketing
outcomes. To build the strong relationship with customers and to arrange the events as
well as programs, we need to increase the allocated budget. We have also found that
the prices of products are increasing day by day. We have discussed the organizing
event cost with team members as per operational plan. We have also discussed to
conduct special event days for girls. We have come to the point that budget should be
increased up to 20%.
Moreover, to promote the membership, there is need to give free membership scheme
for two weeks. These types of promotions will also cost us. Hence, our team members
decided that budget should be increased up to 15% for membership promotion.

1. Outputs, projects and deliverables: What will your main work be this year?
What elements of your work area’s Business Plan will you be responsible for or contribute to?
The main work is to improve participation in community football, specifically to increase the
total number of players by 4% and increase participation of girls aged between 5 and 18 by 2%.
Marketing campaign, Marketing area will responsible to conduct market research as well a
promote participation on football. it will also contribute in volunteer recognition scheme and
promote promotional events to raise fund for event throughout the year.
3. Knowledge and skills: What do you need to do your job well this year?
What learning and development activities will you undertake this year and how will your new
skills and knowledge be applied on the job?
There is a need to develop the leadership skills, communication, team work, planning and
organising, self-management, knowledge of community football to develop long term
relationships with community members.
The learning and development activities will create a strengths and further development for
employee. With the help of new skill and knowledge we can create metrics, self-reflection and
review goals and targets.
The feedback from our managers, colleagues will help to know our performance
level in the organisation. It increases steady growth on monthly members,
community engagement, social events participation.
