Oratorical Contest last October 27, 2014 held at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. With the

Teachers are incorporating Active Learning strategies in their classes after they went
through another TQC (Teacher Quality Circle) activity - a training-workshop on Active
Learning pedagogy which highlighted the School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) at the NNHS
last September 3 and a follow-through training-workshop on November 17.
Entitled “Redefining MCART: Meaningful Collaborative Activities for Revitalized Teaching
& Learning,” the in-service training engaged teachers in revisiting student-centered learning
techniques and active learning approach as well as re-examining and re-engineering their
lesson plans to maximum student engagement. Project Proponent and workshop facilitator
was Mr. Marco D. Meduranda, Master Teacher I in English.
This project is an offshoot of M-CART 3.0 (NNHS Reading Literacy Program). It covers
integration of Active Learning strategies in the preparation of multi-media (M-CART)
lessons which contained the thousand and one reading tools utilized in M-CART 2.0 lessons Students and Science teachers celebrate their 5-peat

The Public-PRISAA Meet 2014 was conducted on October 28-30, which
was participated by all public and private schools in Navotas City. Each team
was composed of selected athletes from the different public secondary
schools in Navotas to compete against the Private Secondary schools in the
city.
The Public-PRISAA Meet showcased competitions in the field of
Dancesports (Latin and Standard), , Sepak Takraw, Swimming (Men’s
and Women’s Category), Table Tennis (Men’s and Women’s Category),
Chess (Men’s and Women’s’ Category), Taekwondo (Men’s and Women’s
Category), Volleyball (Men’s and Women’s Category), Badminton (Men’s
and Women’s Category) and Basketball (Men’s and Women’s Category).
The winning teams in the Public-PRISAA Meet 2014 will compete in the
forthcoming NCR Palaro.
