London Station Annual Work Plan For The year 2013

General Goals:

o To Contribute in achieve South Sudan foreign policy in United Kingdom.

o To create effective intelligence relation with friendly and counterparts at
host country.
o To plan intelligence awareness for all foreigners’ intelligence activities that
taking place at host country.
o To collect specific intelligence information and take lead for positive
intelligence in host country.
o To organize with British external Intelligence (MI6) for Training Courses
NSS staff for the capacity building.

Activities for achieving goals:

Goal (1) Diplomatic relation:

o To establish bilateral relation with friendly and other counterparts at host

country.
o Exchange of intelligence information with friendly and counterparts that
o Evaluate the negative and positive aspects of the two services GIB and MI6.
o To coordinate for the training courses to GIB officers for capacity building
with UK security service MI6.
o Coordinate and organize for the experts meetings between GIB and MI6 in
Juba.
o Coordinate for the visiting of Director General of GIB to London to meet his
counterpart there.

Goal (2) Intelligence:

o Establish relationship with British external intelligence (MI6).

o Assess public opinion of British Government against Republic of South
Sudan.
o Take lead of positive intelligence amongst South Sudanese Communities
and Students in United Kingdom.
 o To monitor any illegally movement of South Sudanese oppositions parties in
United Kingdom.

Goal (3):

o Know the numbers of South Sudanese living in United Kingdom and

especially in London.
o Assess the positive and negative aspects of South Sudanese presence in
London towards Government of Republic of Sudan.
o Assess the situation of South Sudanese students in UK.

Periodical Implementation Mechanism

1st Quarter (January- April):

Exchange of timely information

Regular meetings with MI6 in host country
Sharing intelligence information with counterparts
To know exact number of Southern Sudanese in UK

2nd Quarter (May-July):

Sharing timely intelligence information

Coordinate training course to GIB officers in Juba
Arrange visiting for DG of GIB to London
Arrange visit of MI6 Expertise to Juba

3rd Quarter (August-October):

Sharing timely intelligence information

Cyclist meetings with MI6 in London
Arrange visit for GIB expertise to London
Review the status of bilateral relation between GIB and
MI6 by knowing advantages and disadvantages
Coordinate training course on leadership

4th Quarter (November-December):

Evaluate implementation of work plan of the year 2013
Prepare work plan for the year 2014
