Cippenham Community Centre Available after school hours, But as I’m filming

Permissions
As my mum worked there, I was able to ask her when the rooms I need for filming are
available. She had told me that the main 2 halls are undergoing construction so I will only be
able to use the kitchen, hallway and nursery room if needed.

Lighting Information:
fluorescent bulbs along the roof, Small
translucent window for sunlight.
Sound Information:
In the community centre there is currently
constant construction work going on, but this is
at the other side of the building so It shouldn’t
affect me too much when in the bathroom.
Power Information
There are no available sockets inside the
bathroom, however just outside in the hallway,
there is two if needed.
Hazards
Because we splash water for a scene the floor
may get wet.
Room could flood if taps are left on
unintendedly.
Solutions:
I will be using the fluorescent lights that are in
the bathroom, as well as getting some sunlight
through window. If this still isn’t enough, I have
some external camera lights in my bag if
needed, but I think the sunlight and fluorescent
lighting should be enough.
Solutions:
Even though I don’t think that the construction
workers will be loud enough to hear from the
kitchen I will still be recording two minutes of
silent ambient audio in the room because if
anything happens during the production like an
alarm/drill etc. I will be able to easily replace
the background sound.
Solutions: I don’t currently need any power as
all my equipment is running on NPF batteries
and AA batteries or other rechargeable
batteries that I will have already charged ahead
of the shoot, I will bring all necessary chargers
however just in case they either run out of
battery or I forget to charge something.
Solutions:
Wipe up any water that has been splashed on
the floor as we have access to a lot of paper
towels we can use if needed.
Double check taps before leaving to make sure
they are not left on.
