1. What means Racism for you?

R/ For me, racism is that person who does not tolerate people of color

2. How many forms of discrimination are there in the movie, and which ones?
R/: In the movie there are two ways in which they are racism and prejudice

3. Does the government adequately respond to the crisis? If not, what might have
been done differently?
R/: No, the government doesn't do anything about it, what they should see is done is that
citizens are taught to respect people of color, although in the film the doctor says that they
had friends who fought for that.

4. Why did ‘’the Doctor´´ decide to hire lip? Explain your answer.
R/: Why the lip was recommended to the doctor by several people and why the lip
performed well at work.

5. ¿Do you think that in Colombia exist some kinds of racism or discrimination?
Support your arguments
R/: Yes, of course, in Colombia there is both racism and discrimination, the most
common is from high-income people to low-income people.

6.  How do the main characters' life experiences influence their views of the crisis?
R/: Well, we must not treat people badly, whether of color or of anything else, since all
human beings are the same and that each one has their defects.

7. What was the most precios gift for Valelonga that christmas?
R/: The most precious gift was that Lip invited him to spend Christmas with her family,
although at first she declined the invitation at the end he went and had a wonderful
Christmas.

8. What was the salary of Lip?

R/: At first, Lip had agreed to $125 a week with the doctor, but in the end I did not pay him
because Lip decided not to introduce the doctor in his presentation due to the
inconvenience of not letting the doctor come in to dinner at the restaurant.
9. What is the most particular thing or item that you saw during the movie? And why
did this article catch your attention?
 R/: Well, the whites discriminated against the doctor in a very ugly way, although he was
a good musician, it did not matter in the same way that they continued to treat him badly.
