JOINT IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES ON THE 2020 BRIGADA ESKWELA AND

OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA RELATIVE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION
1. This is to announce that the school will conduct a virtual general faculty meeting on Monday, May 25,
2020 at 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
2. Relative to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, the Office of the President has issued
Presidential Proclamation No. 922. s. 2020 declaring a state of public health emergency throughout the
Philippines. In response to the public health emergency, and guided by the issuances on the management
of COVID-19 by the Office of the President, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of
Emerging Infectious Diseases in the Philippines (IATF-EID). and the Department of Health (DOH). the
Department of Education (DepEd) developed a Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) for
the guidance of all DepEd units. Titled Learning Opportunities Shall be Available: The Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan in the Time of COVID-19. the BE-LCP lays down the direction for basic
education in the coming school year, and shall be operationalized on a rolling basis through
implementing issuances, programs, and activities at all governance levels of DepEd.
3. The objectives of the meeting are the following:

a. to orient the teaching and nonteaching personnel about the upcoming Brigada Eskwela and
Oplan Balik Eskwela Program.
b. dissemination of program of work
c. preparation for the opening for the School Year 2020-2021
4. The program of work and their designation for the program and activities are contained in Enclosure No.
1

COORDINATOR for the Brigada Eskwela 2020/Maintenance Week 2020 of Emilia Perez Ligon High School,

Herein are his duties and responsibilities:
1. He shall serve as Co-Chair of the Brigada Eskwela Steering Committee who will spearhead the
implementation of the BE Program and shall oversee the various efforts to be undertaken for the program
such as marketing and advocacy, resource mobilization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
2. He shall create School Work Plan in the context of Covid19 situation;
2. He shall keep all records of school partnership documentary requirements; and
3. He shall summarize and consolidate BE forms and submit the Brigada Eskwela Accomplishment Report.
This designation is made for the best interest of the service, thus immediate compliance is hereby
enjoined.

COMMITTEE for the Brigada Eskwela 2020/Maintenance Week 2020 of Emilia Perez Ligon High School, Maligaya,
San Miguel, Bulacan.
Objective:
To promote public awareness and encourage involvement in Brigada Eskwela by:
a. utilizing the developed advocacy and marketing materials from the ASP National Secretariat to create the mode
of campaign. Reproducing or redeveloping advocacy materials; and
b. conducting extensive awareness campaign and other marketing activities which may include
interviews/advertisement with local radio, television and newspapers, posting of campaign banners, showing
Brigada Eskwela music video, distribution of other campaign materials and roadshows, such as Brigada caravan.
