World Compliment Day

World Compliment Day is an unofficial international holiday

celebrated each year on March 1st. The holiday was started in the
Netherlands by Hans Poortvliet in 2001. Hans thought that
sharing compliments would be a positive way to spread joy and
help people to feel happier. As this holiday gains in popularity,
more and more people enjoy giving and receiving compliments.

Lets join in the fun and start speaking our compliments! You can tell your
mom or dad that you liked the dinner they made. You can tell your friend they have a
good sense of humor. You can tell your dog that he’s the best. Whenever you see
something nice about someone, let them know.
