    Lesson -1 Noi Saves a Whale
    by BenjiDavies

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Write date, lesson number and name of the lesson in the index page.
    2. Leave the first and second side of the page after the index page.
    3. On the third page, write lesson number and name in between the first three lines.
    4. Draw a line with red pencil on the first and third line of the page.
    5. Write all the headings and questions and answers in neat handwriting.
    6. Don’t leave line while writing an answer.

    1‘Now , I must be quick,’ he thought. He ran home again and back his pull cart.

    a. Who is’ he’ and where was he?

    Ans. He is Noi and he was in the beach.

    b. Why did he bring the pull cart?

    Ans. He brought the pull cart to carry the baby whale home.

    Questions and Answers:

    1Q. What efforts did Noi take to make the whale comfortable?

    Ans. First, Noi poured a bucket of cold water on the whale and took it to his home. He put it in the
    bathtub and told stories to it.

    Q2. How did Noi’s father react when he came to know about the whale?

    Ans. Noi’s father felt proud of him for saving a baby whale. He advised Noi to take back to the sea
    where it belonged to.

    Q3. Why did Noi want to be quick?

    Ans. He knew that the whale would die if it was out of water for a long. So, he wanted to be quick.
