Pedagogical Methods for Technology Implementation

Denny Zions in Seoul

There are a variety of technologies that are being

used in schools and the list is growing. These are also
various methods to implement a technology and also a
combination of multiple technologies at once. Effective
selection requires knowing not only your subject or
course of teaching but also other constraints including
your school environment, your resouces, your students
and yourself.
The following information provides broad
categorization only. Refer to the last section for more
specific sources to be considered. Also, remember the
following categories are not exclusive to themselves
and overlapping may occur. Also, the list is not an
exhaustive list either! Who wonders what exotic
technologies will be added next to the rapidly
growing list!

Remember Me
Michael Zions in Korea

I hope this workshop and these handouts will serve

to be useful for you. At least it is my wish to put more
weight on the importance of technology in education.
Indeed, as I mentioned at the beginning, our world is
technology. Thus, education must follow suit
accordingly...and so much the teacher.
With this in mind, remember this quote:
"Those teacher who do not embrace
technology may soon be replaced by those
that do!"
Best of luck with your teaching!
Dennis Zions
