 Job summary Market Research Head is responsible for
the market research department. Directs
and oversees an organization's marketing
policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being a
Market Research Head a team to review
changes to the marketplace and industry
and adjusts marketing plan accordingly

understand and document the
business objectives
2. Selecting the most appropriate
research methodology and
techniques
3. Designing qualitative and
quantitative market research plans
for products in all stages of the

rich insights to clients.
 Experience 8-10 years’ experience with experience in
Business research, Market research
 Skills 1. Excellent knowledge of statistical
packages (SPSS, SAS or similar),
databases and MS Office
2. General knowledge of basic web
technologies such as HTML,
JavaScript, or Flash is preferred
3. Open to learning new processes and
take on new challenges.
4. Ability to be a quick learner as well
as detail-oriented.
5. Adequate knowledge of data
collection methods (polls, focus
groups, surveys etc)
6. Deep knowledge of data warehousing,
and mining.
7. Strong analytical and critical thinking
 Certification 1. The International Institute for
Procurement and Market Research
(IIPMR)
2. Professional Researcher Certification
(PRC) is preferred but not mandatory.
