CASE STUDY 1
INTRO:
Narrator (EJ): Yoona is 25 years old and lives in Makati, she is a working a student with a part-
time job as a call center agent. She is known to be a hard party goer. She goes to clubs and
parties almost every weekend.
Vanessa and Philip: (Partehhh Partehhh….Adlib nalang)
Vanessa: (suddenly felt an extreme lower abdominal pain, this incident made her go home and
rest.)
Narrator (EJ): While she was in her apartment, she took HNBB one tablet and this relieved her
pain. The following day,
Vanessa: (the same pain occurred and radiated in her flank, she had no other symptoms.)
SCENE 1:
Narrator (EJ): After the series of lower abdominal pain, she decided to see a physician
Vanessa: (In the clinic, the treating physician, asked series of questions pertaining to the pain
but failed to inquire regarding her sexual activity)
E.J: She was then asked to do CBC PC and Urinalysis and to come back once with result. The
treating physician prescribed her pain killers stronger than HNBB without further evaluation.
SCENE 2
Narrator (EJ): Yoona did the CBC PC and Urinalysis
Julie: (papakilala at tatanungin kung ano ang sadya)
Vanessa: (sasagutin si julie)
Julie: (doing procedure) (bibigay yung result)
Vanessa: (doubtful reaction)
Narrator (EJ): Doubtful with the results, Yoona sought consultation to another doctor
La-arnie: (Dr. Pan, examined Miss Yoona, during examination, (ASCITES YUNG HULING WORD)
flank pain re-occurred. Dr. Pan ordered for KUB and Lower Abdomen Ultrasound.)
SCENE 3:
Narrator (EJ): Yoona had to be admitted because of the results of her laboratory tests. In the
ward. she became restless and uncooperative
Tina: (giving advice and convincing)
Vanessa: (AYAAWWWWW!!!!!!) 2x
Tina: (Nagsumbong sa Doctor HAHAHAH )
La-arnie: (now opting for DAMA or Discharge Against Medical Advice)
Vanessa: (her urination became more painful)
La-arnie: other laboratory tests yielded an unfavorable primary result.
Tina: (convince pa more through health teaching)
Vanessa: (AYAW…) 1X
Tina: (convincing)
Vanessa: (stays at the hospital)

CASE STUDY 3: AIDS/ STI

Narrator (EJ): Era has an active sexual life, she is single and her friends know her as the woman
who loves one night stand. She lives in the city and is a successful business woman. In one of
her recent out of town, she had an unidentified male partner.
Kiki and Philip: (adlib sa pagpapakilala)
Narrator (EJ): for the first time made her perform anal sex. 3 days after her trip, she went to a
nearby bar and had some couple of drinks

Kiki and Philip: (adlib sa pagpapakilala) ikaw na bahala sa suot mo phil basta iba sa una
Narrator (EJ): Both decided to go back to Era’s place and have sex
Philip: (During their activity, the guy told Era that to use a vibrator to make the activity better.)
Kiki: (Grasping that the idea will make their activity better, she agreed.)
SCENE 1:
Narrator (EJ): Time for check up. Era visited her friend Liz who is a nurse

Kiki: (she told her friend about her escapades.)

La-arnie: (Hearing this, her friend got worried and advised her to lessen her chosen activity and
that anal sex can cause laceration and that she can contract sexual diseases if she continues to
do this.)
SCENE 2:
Narrator (EJ): : Era decided to listen to Liz, and had started clean living. One day
Kiki: (she woke up with cough and colds and body malaise. She decided to see a doctor for medical
prescription)

EJ: . During examination, Dr. Kim saw a couple of rashes on the patient’s clavicle. Dr. Kim knew that
this was not a regular rash but wanted to confirm this. He extracted thorough activity and had revealed
that she had a previous active sexual activity. Dr. Kim, requested Era to do tests for STD including culture
and sensitivity)

JULIE: (culture and sensitivity then bigay ng result sa doctor)

EJ: (that she tested positive for AIDS)
Kiki: (Era told her friends about her condition and all of them left her except for Liz)
Tina: (ayaw na kay kiki)
La-arnie: (assured her that she will stay with her all throughout the process. Era is now an
advocate for safe sex.)
Kiki: (Era is now an advocate for safe sex. Prepare ka kahit maikli lang na advocate for safe sex)
