1. Background
Lack of communication and discussion espesially in this pandemic constrain
the teams to perform in their best conditions, some will even lead to non-motivated
staffs that can begin to question their confidence and work. In order to become a
person or a team who works productively, one has to be able to communicate
effectively, so that they will be considered as valuable assets to the team. By knowing
how to present themselves in a good light, the chances of them being trusted and
successful at persuading the others to help them. In this course, Soft Skill and Internal
division wishes to aid the board of SPE ITS SC to learn the tips and tricks on how to
communicate efficiently by inviting a skilled speaker to share his/her experiences
regarding this issue, hoping that it may motivate the BoC of SPE ITS SC to take a
step forward.

2. Event Description
Upgrading BoC focuses on developing one’s soft skills by inviting experts. In
this course, the attendees will have the opportunity to self-actualize and learn how to
maximize themselves relating to the topic. From the course, the audiences will gain
more knowledge and hopefully will implement it in real life. There will be a proper
introduction to the subject of the topic then followed by the course about the topic.
Afterward, there will be a Q&A session where the audiences have the chance to ask
the professionals about the topic mentioned.

Upgrading BoC : Communicate Effectively Within The Team! is an event that

focuses on discussing the ways to enhance one’s communication skills. In this event,
the speakers will be sharing his/her experiences and motivate the board and members
to take a step forward by communicating effectively.
3. Material Direction
Somethings that will be discussed in this event are:
 What is communicate effetively?
 Why is communication important within the team especially
in this pandemic (WFH)?
 How to reduce miss communication?
 Tips and tricks on communicate effectively

4. Objectives
The objectives of this event are:
 To teach effective communication to BoC
 To give explanation on types and ways of communicatin

Undergraduate students of ITS (2017-2019)
