ABSTRACT:

Employee plays a vital role in each and every organization; the interest of employee will help to
achieve the organization’s objectives. Employee engagement has emerged as a popular
organizational concept in recent years. It is the level of commitment and involvement of an
employee towards the organization and its values.
Successful employee engagement strategy creates a community at a work place and not just a
work force. When the employees are effectively and positively engaged with their organization,
they form an emotional connection with the company.
An engaged employee is aware of business context, and works with colleagues to improve
performance within the job for the benefit of the organization. Employee engagement develops
positive attitude among the employees towards the organization.
This paper focuses on various factors which lead to employee engagement and what should
company do to make the employees engaged. This effects their attitude towards both their
colleagues and the company’s client and improves customer satisfaction and services levels.
