JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF ARRESTING OFFICER

We, the UNDERSIGNED Police Officers, both members of the Philippine
National Police, presently assigned at the Capas Municipal Police Station, after having
been duly assigned to in accordance with the law, do hereby depose and state:
1. That, on or about 02:40 in the afternoon while we are on duty, a tricycle driver in
the person of James Medina arrived and reported that while he was driving his
tricycle at a road in Cut-Cut 1st, Capas, Tarlac, he was flagged down by a
suspicious person who was carrying a bag which he believed contained a
firearm.

2. That, we, PAT. ROSALIE BAIS and PCpl. ROXANNE PASCUAL, subsequently
responded and immediately proceeded at the said place and upon arriving
thereat we inquired from a bystander about the presence of any suspicious
looking person. We were then informed that the said person has already left
following the trail leading to Baranggay Sto. Dominggo. Thereupon, we pursued
the suspect and in fact caught up with him after walking for about two (2)
kilometers. Then there we saw the suspect holding a firearm and also carried a
back pack.

3. That at about ten (10) meters we ordered him to stop and at the same time
informed said person of our authority as police officers and told him to raise his
hands and which he did. We then approached him and confiscated from him the
firearm and inquired from him whether he has authority to possess the same.
Said person revealed his name as CLARK GAMBOA, 28 years old, single and a
resident of Barangay Cristo Rey of Capas, Tarlac.

4. After duly marking the confiscated firearm and one empty magazine thereof, we
brought said Clark Gamboa to the Police Station of Capas, Tarlac.

5. That we executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of all the foregoing facts
and to support the filing of a formal charge/s in court against said person.
 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we hereunto affixed our signature this 26th day of
March 2020 at Tarlac City.
