FIELD AND LAB SKILLS

Surveying: Surveying experience with Total Station and sight level and scope in
floodplains and mountain headwater catchments

Solute Tracers: Can conduct solute tracers in streams using various tracers (salt,
Uranine, Rhodamine) and various deployable loggers, and analyze data using method of
moments, and breakthrough curve numerical models.

Stream Gauging: Use of velocimeters, tracers, and other techniques to estimate stream
flow in streams of all sizes.

Long-term monitoring: Installation and wells and equipment to record data for
months to years across multiple watersheds.

Laboratory Skills: Competent in various environmental engineering wet lab skills


including: titrations, alkalinity, DNA extraction, water quality analysis techniques.
