Merrimack College Office of Residence Life, North Andover, MA July 2020-Present
Graduate Resident Director
• Oversee an upper-class, suite-style residence area of 169 students and 5 Resident Advisors
• Supervise RA programming by approving Resident Advisor programs, manage supply orders
through the Dean of Students Office, and facilitate conversations with RAs about strengths
and weaknesses to foster growth in their ability to build community in their area
• Coordinate students exiting and entering housing at the College by processing the proper
paperwork on the backend to ensure that all students and staff involved are properly notified
• Assist Housing Operations team with coordination of housing selection by identifying the
proper number of spaces for living learning communities as well as the general student
population without the use of housing software
• Serve as part of the College’s on-call rotation, using crisis response and management skills to
address situations of student policy violations, alcohol, drugs, and medical transports with
collaborating partners such as the College’s police department
• Directed the conversion of internet modems in 116 College leased apartments by serving as
the point of contact for outside contractor, keeping data on each conversion, providing
frontline support for students and training other members of the Residence Life team

Mentor
• Served as College mentor to a high school junior using counseling skills such as active
listening, motivational interviewing, and identity development theory to advise on the college
admission process
• Utilized my fluency in Spanish to communicate with my mentee who was an English
language learner in order to address their concerns and foster a meaningful working
relationship
• Facilitated a workshop on digital literacy with the entire group of Upward Bound students
where I presented and designed activities on professional email etiquette, file management in
a digital world, and overall digital professionalism

Peer Mentor
• Collaborated with fellow Peer Mentors when creating and facilitating activities and making
sure that mentees are acclimating well to Stonehill College
