Bali ang flow natin:

1. Introduce muna tayo

2. Short Introduction galing dun sa ginawa mo bago tayo nagcome-up dun sa title.
3. Introduce yung title
4. Background na. Then explain and input na rin yung sa neuro-blockers na study.

BG- each day, there are millions of students who rely on coffee to wake up, or to
get through their lectures, seminars and study sessions. coffee has become a
necessity in their daily lives. they believe that coffee increases their alertness
and concentration.
With its stimulatory effects, consumption of caffeine, most commonly through
coffee, has been popularized among different age groups, with young adults, most
commonly college students, as the most frequent consumers. In fact, studies
revealed that reaping the psychomotor effects of caffeine is the primary reason why
individuals choose to consume it.

Studies have examined the health effects of coffee, and whether the overall effects
of coffee consumption are positive or negative has been widely controversial that
is why the researchers came up with this study to know how caffeine impacts these
six cognitive skills and how it compares with the cognitive performance of an
individual who does not drink coffee.

ADENOSINE- a nucleoside composed of the purine base adenine and ribose.

neurotransmitters- chemical messengers in the body

so there is a study included in the ppt presentation that "Caffeine is the

most commonly consumed psychoactive substance in the world. By consuming caffeine,
this drug can cause an alteration in the individuals’ brain." studies have shown
that Caffeine doesnt actually give u energy at all it actually tricks ur brain into
thinking ure not tired it does tht by impersonaying a compound that signals ur
brain to sleep that compound is called adenosine it buidds up in the brain, the
longer were awake adenosine binds with its receptors om brain cells slowing down
and making us frel tired. Caffeime and adenosine have similar structures which
makes caffrine the perfect impostor

when we drink a cup of coffee or a can of soda, the caffeine gets in our
bloodsstream and makes it way to our brain that where it meets the adenosine
receptor.

sinc caffeine and adenosine looks similar, the receptors bimd the caffeine instead
of the adenosine
basically caffeime stops the adenosine from slowing things down by taking its place
so our brain cells stop getting slow don signal from adenosine that boost blood
pressure and heart rate.

WHY DID U CHOOSE THIS TOPIC?

we chose this topic because we want to study on something that we could
relate to. like me, i am a coffee drinker and hes not. for us, i know theres a
difference between our cognitive performance and we want to know if theres a
significant impact of caffeine in one's cognitive performance.

and i know that there are a lot of students who depend on coffee especially when
theyre studying as they believe caffeine to increase their enrgy and cocentrayion.
and in this we decided to focus on factors that can affect the cognitive
performances of studentsis there rlly an impact on the cognitive skills of an
individual?

wht is study all about?

our study is all about the comparative analysis on the impact of caffeine on the
cognitive performance of coffee drinkers vs non coffee drinkers.

how will it contribute to existing body of knowledge

although caffeine intake have been well studies thoughout the literature,
comparison between the performance of coffee and non coffee drinkers remain
unclear. Through this study, we can contribute what the result will be. is there
really an impact. we all know that all research is all about expanding knowledge
and discovering new knowledge.

BENEFIT:
once we gathered all the data and get the result. we will know if theres rlly
a significat difference between the cognitive performance of coffe and non coffee
drinkers and also to know if theres really an impact of coffee to cognitive
performance of an individual

how is it related to nursing?

it is somehow related to nursing because we're going to study on the effect of this
stimulant to brain function of an individual.

were going to study about cognitive or how caffeine affects the brain

why is it relevant?
i think it is timely and relevant espcially in this unprecedented situation.
there are a lot of stressors, homeschooling, work, family. and people tend to look
for stimulants and the best option for people specifically students, it to find a
stimulant which can help them to function and pursue actions. and we all know that
caffeine through coffee is a mild stimulant. which could help them to concentrate
and be more productive

TARGET
consumption of caffeine, most commonly through coffee, has been popularized among
different age groups, with young adults, most commonly college students, as the
most frequent consumers. In fact, studies revealed that with the effects of
caffeine is the primary reason why individuals choose to consume it.

so our target respondents are nursing students
