    1. What is the relationship between the variance and the standard deviation?

    2. Why is the unbiased estimator of variance used?

    3. What is a z-score?

    4. What is the difference between a percentage and a percentile?

    5. Base from the ages of the students in the First Batch, Advanced Statistics Class of Dr.
    Benjamin O. Arjona during the Second Semester of School Year 2020-2021, prepare the
    following:

    a. Construct the frequency distribution table for the given set of data.

    b. Then, compute for the (1) 1 st quartile, (2) 2nd quartile, (3) 3rd decile, (4) 6th decile, (5) 75th
    percentile, and (6) 90th percentile.

    c. Find the: range, mean absolute deviation, variance, standard deviation, quartile deviation,
    percentile range

    d. Treating the data as population, find the: quartile deviation, mean absolute deviation,
    standard deviation and coefficient of variation.
