The following orientation-training-workshop methodologies will be implemented in
running the activity:
-Lecture-discussion on the Contextualization of Learning Resources by the resource

-Workshop on the Contextualization of Learning Resources in MAPEH
-Open Forum for purposes of clarifications or in raising concerns of the participants.

Rationale Pursuant to Executive Order No. 292, Book V, Rule VIII, otherwise known as
Administrative Code of 1987, states that “Every official and employee of the government is an
asset of resources to be valued, developed and utilised in the delivery of basic services to the
public.
DepEd Order No.35, s. 2016 “The Learning Action Cell as a K to 12 Basic
Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning”. The teacher’s guide and learners materials may be
modified to accommodate the unique contexts of a particular locality. Guided by the principles
of being learner-centered and inclusive, recognizing diversity…familiarity of the teacher with
the community, the background of learners in one’s class, the setting and situation of the
community.
Because of the safety measures in place, the education of learners will be a lot
different this school year. The Department of Education will be implementing the blended
learning approach which has three modalities- online learning, modular learning and TV-
based/radio learning. Dep Ed is working very hard to make these new modes of learning work.

The orientation –training- workshop shall enable the MAPEH teacher-participants to:
Enhance the capacity of the curriculum implementers on the contextualization of learning
resources and contextualization and contextualization strategies
Objectives
-gain more knowledge on the contextualization of learning resources
-discuss the various ways the contextualization can be done in the K-12 curriculum
- apply contextualization in the preparation of contextualization in the preparation
of contextualized learning resources.
-utilized the enhance knowledge on the analysis and utilization of the learning
outcomes in the assessment
End of Program After the three-day activity, following were accomplished by the teacher-participants :
Outputs 1. Contextualized Activity Sheets and Worksheets of the 4 components in MAPEH.

Expected Final The following are expected outcomes and outputs after the conduct of the
Outcomes/ orientation-workshop :
Success 100% of the participants are enriched in term of knowledge on the Contextualization
Indicators of Learning Resources and Contextualization Strategies.
100% of the participants are ready to utilized contextualized Activity Sheets and
Worksheets to augment learning performance based on the MELC.
100% participants conveyed their appreciation and to whole-heartedly advocate and
implement the MAPEH Curriculum, the K to 12 way.

II. PROGRAM CONTENT FOCUS


Content and COGNITIVE DOMAIN
Scope The orientation-workshop shall enable the MAPEH Teacher-participants to:
-enhance their knowledge and skills on the contextualization of learning resources
and the contextualization strategies.

AFFECTIVE DOMAIN
Appeciation , advocacy and whole-hearted implementation of the MAPEH Curriculum, the K to
12 way.

PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAIN
Utilize the enhance knowledge on the analysis and utilization of the learning outcomes in the
assessment.

Monitoring and The activities on quality assurance will be done by the assigned checkers/master teachers.
Evaluation Monitoring, supervision, evaluation, feed backing and provision of technical assistance shall be
conducted by the different school heads in the district, DS and EPS in-charge in MAPEH. These
shall be done using the prescribed tool.
