Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Good Morning,
This morning, the WA Premier held a press conference to provide the WA public a COVID-19 update. It has been
announced that there have been no new cases of COVID-19 transmission overnight. However a new flight arrival from
Kuala Lumper MH125 on 24th April has been identified as high risk with passengers who were previously in India, who are
currently experiencing a COVID crisis. These return travellers are currently in hotel quarantine, but the Government is
taking a cautious approach.
The WA Government has also announced that their contact tracing has been updated overnight with more locations
identified. Please review the attached register to check if you have been to any of the locations during the times specified.
If you yourself identify having been to any of these locations during those times, the government is urging you get a
COVID-19 test immediately.
Please note: the COVID-19 clinic / drive through testing times have also been updated. Please check these times to
ensure you do not arrive to a closed testing location.
IMPORTANT: If you have visited any of the close-contact locations and get a COVID-19 test, the WA Government has
mandated that you must complete the full 14 days of self-quarantine even if you return a negative result.
Even if you have not visited any of the close-contact locations and have any COVID-19 symptoms, you must go and
get a COVID-19 test and self-isolate until you return a negative result.
Even if you return a negative result, you must continue to monitor yourself for symptoms for 14 days following
your visit. If you experience any symptoms at any time – fever, coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny
nose, loss of smell or taste – go to a COVID clinic to be retested.
COVID-19 vaccines are continuing. If you are eligible for the vaccine and have an appointment, please proceed with
your appointment unless you are in self-isolation.
As a reminder, the new restrictions that currently effect until 12:01am Saturday 1st May are as follows:
Continue wearing a mask in public, while at work and on public transport unless exemptions apply e.g.

20-patron capacity limit and 4m2 rule for:
1. cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs for seated food and drink service only,
