Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Attention: All SSH Staff & Employees

Good Morning,

This morning, the WA Premier held a press conference to provide the WA public a COVID-19 update. It has been
announced that there have been no new cases of COVID-19 transmission overnight. However a new flight arrival from
Kuala Lumper MH125 on 24th April has been identified as high risk with passengers who were previously in India, who are
currently experiencing a COVID crisis. These return travellers are currently in hotel quarantine, but the Government is
taking a cautious approach.

The WA Government has also announced that their contact tracing has been updated overnight with more locations
identified. Please review the attached register to check if you have been to any of the locations during the times specified.
If you yourself identify having been to any of these locations during those times, the government is urging you get a
COVID-19 test immediately.

Please note: the COVID-19 clinic / drive through testing times have also been updated. Please check these times to
ensure you do not arrive to a closed testing location.

IMPORTANT: If you have visited any of the close-contact locations and get a COVID-19 test, the WA Government has
mandated that you must complete the full 14 days of self-quarantine even if you return a negative result.

Even if you have not visited any of the close-contact locations and have any COVID-19 symptoms, you must go and
get a COVID-19 test and self-isolate until you return a negative result.

Even if you return a negative result, you must continue to monitor yourself for symptoms for 14 days following
your visit. If you experience any symptoms at any time – fever, coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny
nose, loss of smell or taste – go to a COVID clinic to be retested.

COVID-19 vaccines are continuing. If you are eligible for the vaccine and have an appointment, please proceed with
your appointment unless you are in self-isolation.

As a reminder, the new restrictions that currently effect until 12:01am Saturday 1st May are as follows:
 Continue wearing a mask in public, while at work and on public transport unless exemptions apply e.g.
vigorous outdoor exercise,
 20-person limit for private indoor and outdoor gatherings,
 20-patron capacity limit and 4m2 rule for:
1. cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs for seated food and drink service only,
2. beauty salons, hairdressers and barbers,

3. public venues such as recreation centres, outdoor playgrounds, museums and swimming pools,
4. places of worship, and
5. entertainment venues,
 No visitors to aged and disability care facilities and hospitals, except for compassionate reasons and advocacy,
 Weddings and funerals can proceed with up to 100 guests, but require an exemption and COVID Event Plan,
 Professional and community sports, including training, permitted but without spectators,
 Elective surgery can proceed for category 1 and urgent category 2 surgeries only,
 Schools, childcare centres and TAFEs open - mask-wearing requirements apply for all school staff and
secondary students, but not primary school students or staff when teaching,
 Universities open for online learning only,
 Fitness clubs, gyms, casinos and nightclubs remain closed, and
 Anyone in an unaffected region who has been in Perth or Peel since 17 th April must comply with mask-wearing
requirements.

SSH Group will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated with any new updates as soon as they come to
light. Thank you for patience and understanding.

Stay Safe & Regards,

Kamil Swiszcz
HSEQ Coordinator

screening at Perth Airport involves a series of questions related to symptoms of COVID-19 and a temperature check.
Travelers can also voluntarily request a test from the Perth Airport Clinic even if they are asymptomatic. If you have taken
a test at the Perth Airport COVID clinic or any other COVID clinic you must self-isolate until you receive your COVID-19
