Product overview
The HP t638 Thin Client is an ideal choice for typical client virtualization environments. this product allows
a great deal of flexibility for the customer to tailor the client for the use cases that are more particular to
the APJ region. The HP t638 offers:

• Outstanding PC-like performance with Intel CPU inside

• Flexible and extendable legacy ports designed for the customers business requirements
• Excellent CPU performance
• Provides a minimum of 6 USB ports.

Key updates
The following updates are included with the HP t638 Thin Client:

• New Intel CPUs

• Storage support up to 1TB
• Support for 6 USB ports, 4 serial ports

Warranty and support

Warranty
The HP t638 Thin Client carries the standard Thin Client 3-3-0 standard warranty.

Care Packs are also available.

Service strategy
The HP t638 Thin Client uses the standard Whole unit replacement/Whole unit exchange Thin Client service
strategy: The customer returns the product to depot for repairs/replacements. HP pays shipping cost back
to the customer. The customer can reach out to contact centers and log support ticket and HP provides
pickup and return.

Availability
The HP t638 Thin Client is sold and supported in APJ and EMEA only.

Support model
The HP t638 Thin Client follows the same support model as its predecessors.

Troubleshooting
Use standard troubleshooting techniques to isolate faults and resolve issues with the HP t638 Thin
Client.
