PROJECT QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Join us as a Project Quality Assurance Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As a Project Quality Assurance Engineer you will be part of the Project Core Team (PCT), will drive
the Project quality planning, assure that all processes meet customer requirements, assure delivery of all
Quality deliverables, alert and if necessary, block any non-conforming products or documents from
being released, and manage the quality function records required for the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing customer specifications and defining quality requirements;
Conducting internal and project audits to monitor compliance to customer contract and
compliance to the change management, configuration management and other (business or
customer required) processes;
Managing activities related to the Product Certification;
Managing the non-conforming products and quality related customer complaints, including
issuing corrective action request/ preventive action commendations;
Managing 8D problem solving
Managing the Quality Function Records (ex. quality records, test reports, FAI reports, etc.)
and participating in various meetings as Quality Representative for Project.
Qualifications

Key requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering or Science (preferred in technical field);
You have at least three (3) years of quality related experience (including experience in
auditing); CQE preferred; rail or wayside experience preferred;
Experience with DOORS (requirements engineering)
Ability to interface with multiple departments and prioritize QA activities in a dynamic, fast-
paced environment;
Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
