Course Description:

Rationale This course introduces to the students the basic concepts of finance, and its
significance to a safe and smooth business operation.

Focus Since the main objective of business entity is to earn profit in a legal and
ethical way, the discussion on this course will be centered on the balancing of
risk and return of investment.

Outcome Students are expected to assess the viability of investing in debt instrument,
equity instruments, and make an intelligent decision whether to accept or
