Rural development foundation.

Introduction:

Rural development foundation of Pakistan a (RDF) a non political ; non profit making and
non governmental organization recognized at the national as well as international level was founded in
June 1978 by Dr .M Sadiq Malik with the approval of federal government vide Eads.

RDF center:

The RDF center is established in its own multistoried buildings raised in the center of of
islamabad on a piece of land purchased from the government. The center also houses institute of rural
development. And south Asian assosiation for non governmental. Organizations (SANGO).

Vision:

To create the opportunity for the rural poor to realize their true potential to live with choice
and dignity

Mission:

 To promote an enabling rural development paradigm that is people Centered


inclusive participatory and sustainable
 RDFP is engaged in building of capacity of its development partners for
implementing self help and donor -funded projects undertaking plot projects with view
of creating model for sustainable development .

Objectives:
 Rural and agriculture development
 Health (mother and child care ) drinking water and sanitation
 Education & skill development
 Population & environment
 Women empowerment & human resource development
 Micro financing and income generation projects
 Capacity buildings /professional training & youth development

Strengths:
 Strength are the rural maxican capabilities and resource that it can leverage to
build a sustainable competitive advantage in marketplace .
 Strength come from positive aspects of five key resources & capabilities past
experiences and successes;. Financial resources activities and resources and
physical resources such as land ;building .
 Superior product and services quality can help rural maxican to further increase
it’s market share as the current customer are extremely loyal to it.

Weaknesses:

 Weaknesses are the areas capabilities or skills in which rural maxican


lacks .
 It limits the ability of the firm to build a sustainable competitive
advantage.
 I believe that rural Maxican is suffering from lack of critical talent
especially in the field of technology & digital transformation

Opportunities :

 Opportunities are macro environment factors and developments that rural


Maxican can leverage either to consolidate existing market position or use
them for further expension.

 Increasing standardization rural Maxican can leverage this trend to reduce


the number of offerings in the market and foccus the marketing efforts on
only the most successfull products.

 Globalization has led to opportunities in the international market.

Threats:

 Threats can emerge from various factors such as changes in consumer


preferences ;political development & policy changes ,economic growth ,
technological innovations ,and increase in consumer disposable income.
 Culture of sticky prices in industy.Rural Maxican operates in an industry where
there is a culture of sticky prices .
 Increasing cost component for working in developed market because of
environmental regulations .
