What is Fighting for Humanity?

By Honey Ranes

To what do we truly devote our hearts to?

To the walls we trapped ourselves with?
Creating divisions among our true natures,
Plotting valiant forces,
For unending enemy’s downfall,
Or to the weapons that could annihilate?
Or do we devote our hearts ,
To the growing fear,
And the dreams awaken by hunger?
To what do we truly devote ourselves into?

We are devoted in fighting for humanity,

Because the world is clearly cruel,
But what makes the world cruel?
That forces us to fight for ourselves?
And To answer that is to create a statement
And that is ‘The world is cruel’,
Yes it is.
It is a fact that no one can ever breakthrough,
A fact that enrages the youth
A fact that affects the old

That one truth that makes us want to act,

Fight and scream for each other,
And maybe at one another.
to further understand ,
I reclaim my eleventh line.
Which is
We are fighting for humanity,
Humanity of you and I,
The humanity that is us,
and our future.

But what about what makes us humans?

The plants and its trees,
The animals and the fruits we eat,
The seas and bodies of water,
Those that clenches our thirst and baths our wounds.
What about these that makes us humans?
Do we fight for them as well?

Do we fight for them as well?

When we are envious,
Of those who can freely fly,
Run wild,
And those who can swim deep,
Do we fight for them as well?
When we are envious
Because we are truly inner titans
Because our leaders may be
A secret descendants of the selfish and greedy kings

But then again,

Are we truly fighting for humanity?
If not,
What are we fighting against?
If from then on and today,
We are fighting against something unpredictable,
A phenomena we are oblivious of the start,
As the present is the only belief that pushes us strong,
Because we are blind,
We are fighting for Humanity blindly.

The fight for humanity takes a different term,

Because we are fighting for humanity,
The same humanity that is us and our future,
But How exactly can we fight for humanity?
When what makes us human are destroyed,
By greed,
That steals and kills,
That nobody cares and shares,
That abuses and neglects,
That craves for power and manipulates,

Why are we fighting for Humanity?

When fighting for it exactly is fighting,
Fighting against what we are fighting for
And from there we’ll ask,
was it fighting for humanity?
That we created walls,
Hid from the other
And divided into factions
As all we wanted was peace and order,
Protecting our people,

The Health and lives

Now all at risk
And just because
We are fighting for Humanity
When we are blind
And we have inner titans
Which we can never swallow winningly
Whom at reality’s finest
Are bigger than ourselves
Or who we claim to be

Seeking positives among negative films,

When we are blind,
And those are only facades of the ugly truth,
That we refuse to see and feel,
And again I ask,
what makes the world,
The earth we live in so cruel?
Was it the natural causes?
The strong winds that swept you off your feet?
Or was it the mountains that fell without its trees?

What made the world so cruel

That we divided
To be fighting for humanity
In our own pretentious battles
To which swallowing truth and pride
Is the hardest bomb
And restoring things that made us humans
Was never the priority
Because we were busy battling other titans
Than our own descendants of evil humans

Do we truly understand,
What we devoted our hearts into?
Do we truly understand what is humanity
That we try to fight for?
Do we truly understand
What made the world cruel
Do we truly understand
What we should be fighting for?
Do we truly understand,
Or we did but we ignore and forget?

There’s a lot of questions in the world,

No answer will be enough,
There’s a lot of questions in the world,
As long as we continue,
Continue to feed our young with our mistakes,
As long as we feed our young with empty promises of change,
When all we do is repeat the same mistake.
We are fighting for humanity,
But we should stop and understand,
To clarify our plans and justify our actions.

What is fighting for humanity?

When our enemies is ourselves,
When the holes on the walls,
Was never sealed for greed,
When the leaders have double faces,
When the innocent and naive doesn’t survive,
When life becomes short,
And we all don’t get along,
To which we divided to creating chaos in our own homes
