GITA LEARNING CONTEST

(Details with Rules and Regulations)

1. 100 Objective type Questions (Exam duration 90 minutes)-

(A) 80 questions from GCL Questionnaire i.e. 20 from “Description” part and 60 from
“Objective Questions” part. 25% marks deduction on wrong answer for any of these 70
questions. No deduction for unanswered questions.
(B) 20 questions from following verses of “Bhagavad Gita As It Is”
(These questions will have no negative marking)-
Chapter 7: Verse 3, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 19, Chapter 8: Verse 6, 15, 16, 17, 20
Chapter 9: Verse 2, 4, 10, 11 ,13, 14, 22, 26,27, 29, 30, 32, 34,
Chapter 10: Verse 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 41
Chapter 11: Verse 32, 33 Chapter 12: Verse 5, 6, 7, 20
2. GLC questionnaire will be provided free of cost at the time of registration.
3. Question paper will be in English, Gujrati & Hindi (whichever medium you opt at the
time of registration).
4. Contest dates:

For Junior Group (Up to 10th Class): Dec-02-2018, Sunday, 10:30 AM.

For Senior Group (Open to everyone): March-03-2019, Sunday, 10:30 AM.

5. In Gujarat (Baroda, Surat and VV Nagar/Anand): All exams will be conducted in temple
premises and selected schools.
6. In other parts of India: Online Exam Centers (within/outside Gujarat) will be available.
7. Those who will register from ISKCON Temples, will get privilege of getting ISKCON
Temples as exam centers.
8. Participants will have to report half an hour before exam.
9. Participants will have to present “Participant’s Copy” at the time of Exam and Prize and
Certificates Distribution Ceremony. “Participant’s Copy” is the only and sufficient proof
for validity of contestant.
10. In all cases and for all decisions, the decision of the organizers shall be final and shall be
abiding to all the participants.
11. At the time of exam participants will have to bring “Participant’s Copy”, a BLACK or
BLUE BALL PEN & WRITING BOARD for the contest.
12. Certificate to each participant.
