Tabulating and Visualizing Data Using MS Excel

Objective: To be familiarized with the different functions of MS Excel in relation to the

tabulation of data and the creation of visual aids such as charts and graphs.

Instruction/s:

1. Open a new MS Excel Spreadsheet.

2. Follow the instructor's demonstration of the different parts and function of MS Excel.
Make sure to take down notes.
3. Copy the table below. Use different tabs for each set of data. Modify the tables
properties by putting borders, changing fonts, and color-filling some of the cells.
Please apply modifications appropriately.
4. Prepare the following visual aids for the following: (A) Column chart; (B) Pie chart.
5. Design your work appropriately. Do not copy how the example looks like.
6. Save your file using the filename format: FamilyName_FirstLetterofFirstName-
