This video presentation is about the development

problems of the community.

We all know that every community is striving to be prosperous and developed, although there will
always be challenges and hindrances along the way, such as developmental problems. Nevertheless, if
these developmental problems have been addressed and taken care of, the betterment of the
community will surely be attained.

The three developmental problems that are prevalent in the community are as follows:
• Poverty
• Environmental degradation
• Job unemployment

Why do you think that these are the main problems that cause underdevelopment in the community?

There are some reasons why I consider those three mentioned beforehand as the main problems that
cause underdevelopment in the community. First, simply because it pops up in my mind. Second, I think
that the qualities of an underdeveloped community are low-income families, a damaged environment,
and unemployed people. Third, if a community experiences environmental degradation, it can affect the
animals sheltering from it, and the people can suffer from it. Being unemployed is tough and can make
the family suffer. With the financial problems encountered by the family, they can face the worst of the
worst, which is poverty. With these three problems, it causes underdevelopment in the community.

What do you think are the main reason why these problems occur?

- I think that the main reasons why these problems occur are as follows: 1.neglected responsibility of
every individual,2. ignorance of the responsibility of every individual, incompetent community members
and officials, and lack of opportunities and chances. For these reasons, such developmental problems
occur.

Typically in a research project, we come up with questions that we want to solve. With that questions in
mind, we come up with a title that can give a front for what our research would flow. In research,
people with such intentions and interests would push through a research problem they would want to
solve. Finally, those developmental problems are needed to be addressed. It must be addressed for the
sake of the community. If we assess the reasons and causes as to why these developmental problems
emerge, we can think of plans and solutions. As a DevCom practitioner, this activity and video
presentation is just a stepping stone.
