Greetings to you from Mythri Association,

In our introduction we bring before you this little epitome of our organization., Mythri Association is a
constituent Society Incorporated under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration
Act, 1350 Fasli (Act- I, of 1350 F.) with its principal place of business at E.W.S- 107, KPHB Colony,
Kukatpally, Medchel-Malkajgiri (Dist), Telangana - 500072.

Mythri Association is a Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization established for association and
development of impoverished communities in our region, most of the families are poor because lack of
work opportunities, wherefore they are in need of financial assistance for their livelihood or for the
educational upliftment of their children - rather than uplifting these impecunious people we decided to
give educational upliftment to their needy children with hostel facility under the supervision of their
parents/ relatives/ guardians.

Nevertheless, as Ministry of Women & Child Welfare, Govt of India, passed strict regulations under Sub-
section (1) of Section (41) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 for
registering child care institutions under the said act, though we do not fall unto such category, we obliged
the rules and regulations and registered our organization under the said Act.

Nevertheless, most of the children we are supporting with food, shelter and educational upliftment is
through our own funds and few of them with sponsors; as this meticulous drive is involved with huge
pecuniary engrossment it is very difficult to us to maintain the infrastructure par to the norms and rules
41(3) and 41 (9) of Juvenile Justice Act.

As we brought every child whom we are supporting before Child Welfare 48537286Committee, Medchel-
Malkajgiri (Dist) for the evaluation, the committee assigned a caseworker or child welfare officer for
conducting the inquiry through an order in Form-XII. Nevertheless, we have given details and particulars
for developing an individual child care plan after their enquiry. The caseworkers did assessment of the
family situations of the children in detail, and explained in writing to CWC chairperson about the
disinclined interest of the children and parents to restore them to their family. Nonetheless, CWC
members debarred our shelter home on the grounds that we do not fall under the rules 41(3) and 41 (9)
of Juvenile Justice Act.

Wherefore I request you to give adequate time for the restoration of the shelter home premises and as
the children we are supporting are in the middle of their academic year – if reinstated to their families
their school edification will get abortive and children remain abandoned which indeed is violating the child
in need of care and protection! Nevertheless, as we do not fall under Sub-section (1) of Section (41) of
the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and as there are no other applicable state
or central acts for the welfare of children who are in shelter homes/ hostels like us and getting educational
upliftment under the supervision of their parents/ relatives/ guardians. I request you guide us and refer
our case to concern authorities or judicial officers for the rectification and determination of our case.
