Q No. 1: Punctuations play a vital role in written text. It creates the mood of the text
and enables the reader to get author’s mind. The following passage, is about the
most deadly creature of water known as shark. But it is unreadable due to absence
of punctuations and necessary capital letters. The Candidate must punctuate this
passage correctly to attain assigned marks. (Marks 5)

Passage:
sharks are amazing fish that live all over the world there are many types of sharks the

biggest shark is whaleshark its over fifty feet long the hammerhead shark has very wide

head the most common shark is dogfish shark the great white shark lives in deep cold seas it

attacks large sea animals like sea lions in contrast blue sharks live in shallow water also it is

sometimes found in river they are very good swimmers and hunters they have a lot of

teethes

Answer:
Sharks are amazing fish that live all over the world. There are many types of sharks. The

biggest shark is Whale shark. It’s over fifty feet long. The Hammerhead shark has very wide

head. The most common shark is Dogfish shark. The great White shark lives in deep cold

seas. It attacks large sea animals like sea lions. In contrast blue sharks live in shallow water

also it is sometimes found in the river. They are very good swimmers and hunters. They

have a lot of teethes.

Passage for Question 2 & 3:


Teaching, more other than most profession, has been transformed during the last hundred
years from a highly skilled profession concerned with the limited population, to a large and
important branch of the public service. The profession has a great and honourable tradition
and history. In former days a teacher was expected to be a man of exceptional knowledge or
wisdom to whose words, men would do to attend. Teachers were not an organized
professional and no control was exercised over their teachings. It is true that they were
often punished afterword, for their subjective doctrine. Socrates was put to the death and
Plato is said to have been thrown into the prison, but such incidents did not interfere with
the spread of the doctrine.

Answer: The main idea of this passage is to guide the professional judgment and actions of
the teaching profession.

B. Why Socrates and Plato were punished?


Answer: Socrates and Plato were punished due to the subjective doctrine.

C. Suggest a title for this passage


Answer: Enlightenment (steering) of instructing occupation or Struggles of teacher or
Teacher as a nation builder

Answer: From many professions instructing is a occupation which is modify over the last
hundred years from extremely expert occupation bothered with the restricted inhabitants.
Educating occupation could be very honorable occupation as in comparison with different
professions. Some teachers were punished for empirical idealism. However Educating
occupation shouldn't be an organized occupation as different occupation like lawyer,
professor and so forth. Teacher are also answered for their subject as students.
