Introduction

The project entitled “Bakery shop management system” is an


outcome of practical work. One can get considerable satisfaction when
and only when same positive efforts are translated into concern things. It
is really very pleasant task of acknowledgement the help we have
received while developing this system.
The proposed, “Bakery shop management system” is a platform
introduced to control, assist Security Appliances and their processes i.e.
orders, their bookings, their customer name registrations. Bill to be paid
by the customer for his order is also generated by this system. All these
functions are carried out by the system itself.
The said Bakery shop management systems mentioned above is a
provide them the facility to book an order and get the orders completed.
SCOPE OF SYSTEM

 This system will be used to back up all the data of system to online
server, so if any data lost or crashed, then we can get the data via
server.
 This system will used to deliver the products across the world and
keeps all the info.
 System can be converted to multi-user platform with sophisticated
security checks.
 An administration module can be designed to keep track of various
types of deleted transaction and accordingly updated data and
consistency of database.
EXISTING SYSTEM

At present Bakery and Confectionery shops maintain their day to


day transactions manually. It is very time consuming to manage the
necessary activity schedule of various department and maintenance works
in the factory.
They generally use billing machine to billing but this machine is
not effective for them because it is having lot of drawbacks, apart from
this they can’t maintain stock, purchase and sales transaction regularly.
They need a full pledged software to maintain their day to day
transactions.
Apart from this regular update on stock. Supplier wise cash
transaction. Daily sales report. etc.,
 System is not user friendly.
 User must have knowledge of the system.
 Difficult to maintain.
 Problem of report generating.
 Record finding problem.
 Problem of Security

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The purpose of this document is to specify requirements and to


give guidelines for the development of above said project. In particular, it
gives guidelines on how to prepare the above said project. This document
is intended to be a practical guide for people who developing this
software. Using this bakery management system records can be easily
stored and can be retrieve data any time as per requirement of factory.
 The System is very simple in design as well as to used
 It is less costly and less time consuming then traditional methods.
 This project includes the features of database such as add, update,
search, report, delete, etc., so the bakery shop can easily add
record, records and search.
 In case of any accident in bakery shop data is safe and secure
because records or work stores in one system..
 Billing number is unique and is auto generate.
 All the appliances are also categorized by using some
programming.
Analysis
Fact Finding Techniques

A kind part of feasibility analysis is gathering information about the


present system. These include following techniques
 Questionnaires
 Interviews.
 Record Reviews.
 Observation

 Questionnaires:
Using this technique some questions were asked by the customers
working in an exchange related to the day to day working in the
manual system of the Photo Studio.
 Interview Techniques:
This technique is used to gather information, Questions were asked
regarding the manual procedure of the Administration system. By
using Interview techniques, we came to know that exactly what their
requirements are, how they carry out manual procedures, what are
the major inputs and outputs to the system, etc. They provided with
the step by step working of processes and expenditures.

 Record Searching:
This technique helped us to know that how do they store data in their
files. Which transactions affect which types of files?
 Observations:
This technique helped us to know the actual flow of the documents &
the people involved in the procedures.We also came to know about
the pros and cons of the manual system.

Feasibility Study

As a part of preliminary investigation, the feasibility study was carried


out. The proposed system was viewed from three aspects.
Operational Feasibility: -
Proposed system has been developed keeping the point of view of
existing employees. The Photo StudioManagement System already has
the employees with the required technical knowledge to operate the
system. So, the need to recruit, select and train new employees to
operate the system is not really difficult. The system being highly
graphically interactive, the need of highly trained technical staff is not
required. Thus, the system is operationally feasible.
Technical Feasibility: -
The proposed system will be built using Microsoft Visual Studio
6.0 as frontend and Microsoft Access 2007 as backend which fits in the
hardware configuration specified by the organization. Thus, new system
will have the technologies that are sophisticated for the staff. Hence, the
system is technically feasible
Economic Feasibility: -
Keeping in view all the other parts of feasibility, it automatically
reflects the system also seems to be economically feasible. It will reduce
the organization’s hardware and software expenses to some extent.

 RAM: 2Mb or higher
 Processor: pentium or above
 Hard Disk: 0.2 Gb or above

Future Scope and
Enhancement
The project was developed to fulfill management requirement. The
main objective of Bakery Management System is to enhance and
upgrade the existing system by increasing it is efficiency and
effectiveness. The software improves the working methods by replacing
the existing manual system with the computer based system. The future
enhancements that are possible in the project are as follows:
The project made here is just to ensure that this product could be valid
in today real challenging world.
 IMPROVE THE SHOP FACILITIES.
 AVOID HACKING.
 IN THE AREA OF DATA SECURITY AND SYSTEM SECURITY.
