I know that you are familiar with the saying," Do to others what you want others do to
you." This saying is applicable in the online community. There are many things that we need to
remember when using the Internet. Internet Etiquette or Netiquette tells us to be considerate
when we are online.  The following are the things that you should remember when using the
net.
 Be a law-abiding citizen- just like you, the people you are interacting with on the other side
have rights too. Stealing is a crime- Remember, piracy and plagiarism is stealing
 DO not waste other people's time- provide information that is true and correct
 Be helpful- assist by answering questions posted by others
 Do not fan the flame- A flame is a remark or post which is hostile. The point of connecting
online is to communicate and make friends, not enemies.
 Respect people and their privacy- If you have to criticize or correct someone, do it
constructively and through a private message
 Be responsible-Think first before you act /click.
