1967 600 Lines PHILIP GLASS


He was born in 1937 and grew up in

1971–1974 Music in Twelve Parts virtuoso and composer Ravi Shankar.
He returned to New York in 1967 and
1975 Another Look at Harmony formed the Philip Glass Ensemble –
seven musicians playing keyboards and
a variety of woodwinds, amplified and
1977 North Star fed through a mixer.
