Amit Shah has tested positive for corona virus CoViD-19, gets admitted

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, has tested positive for corona virus CoViD-19 in his report after being
tested for early mild symptoms. He has confirmed this news by himself. He confirmed himself to be
“okay” but as advised by panel of doctors he is admitted to hospital. He tweeted in Hindi, today in the
evening at 04:43 PM. He requested to those who came in contact with him few days before might also
get tested and get themselves isolated as a precautionary measure. His age is 55.

A set of senior doctors along with AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria is probably to visit Medanta
Hospital in Gurugram as AIIMS confirmed and News agency ANI tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also tested positive for coronavirus and he tweeted
that he has been admitted to a hospital on the advice of doctors. Shah is the first Indian Cabinet minister
to test positive for the COVID-19 virus. 55-year-old Shah made the announcement on Twitter.

PTI reported that it was not officially disclosed where Shah was admitted but sources said that he is
being treated at a private hospital in Gurugram.
