Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


To implement Human Resource plans and procedures.
1. RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
1.1. Verifies existence of vacant positions in accordance with manpower plan
1.2. Arranges funding of positions to enable filing in line with operational needs
1.3. Prepares appropriate documentation to advertise the position internally or externally.
2. UNDERTAKES, IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT NEEDS
2.1. Draws the train plan in accordance with the train needs
2.2. Maintains contact with training institutions to arrange for courses and accreditation centers to verify
certificates
2.3. Handles administration of salaries and benefits
2.4. Oversees implementation of the code of conduct and the performance management system
3. OVERSEES IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
3.1. Informs and advises staff on terms of appointment and conditions of service
3.2. Conducts meetings to solve problems pertaining to implementation of the performance management
system.
3.3. Complete individual workplace and administers performance appraisal forms
4. PROCESSES HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DECISION
4.1. Draws contracts of appointment for signature
4.2. Process submissions in accordance with established HR procedures
4.3. Drafts proposal to act on Human Resource Management decisions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• BA Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or any other related field.
• Diploma in HRM plus five (5) years’ experience in the HRM field.
Passing an HRM assessment test
Knowledge of Rules and Regulation pertaining the HRM
Computer Literacy
PREFERRED SKILLS
Clerical knowledge of administration and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files
and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
